Internet Explorer Installation Instructions

GroupWise Upgrade Instructions:

  1. Print this page!
  2. Check to see if you have enough disk space.

The GroupWise 7.0  upgrade requires 200 MB space.  To help ensure a successful upgrade, you are encouraged to take a moment now to see if you have sufficient space on your hard drive by using the following procedure: 

  1. a.      Locate the "My Computer" icon (usually located in the upper left corner of your PC screen).   Right click your mouse once on the icon.
  2. b.      Select "Explore" from the drop-down box. 
  3. c.      Now, right click again on the C:\ drive (Usually reads Ibm_preload(C:).
  4. d.      Select "Properties" from the drop-down box. 
  5. e.      The "General" tab on the window will tell you how much free space you have on your drive.  If you have 200+MB free, then you are ok.  If you have less than 200 MB free or if you would like assistance with this procedure, please call I/T Customer Support at 25999.

·  3.  Close all running programs.

·  4.  Click on the GroupWise Upgrade Link 

You should now see the following window.  This means that the GroupWise installation files are downloading to your workstation. This process will take some time. 

NOTE:  If the download process is interrupted or stalls for any reason, simply start over.  If you start over, you will see the following window.  Select the “Continue the download from the point of the interruption” option. 

After the GroupWise files are downloaded to your workstation, the automatic install will begin.  You will see a window similar to the one below.  From this point the upgrade process has been fully automated and may only require a restart of your machine.  If you are asked, restart your machine.
